Brennan's Surgery Update

Okay, so Brennan will probably want to kick my butt if he sees that I posted these. (But what is the point of taking pictures to document things if you can't show them to anyone, right?) Okay, so his surgery was 10 days ago. So, I think he looks dang good considering. Okay, so these pictures are not the most flattering, (up close shots seldomly are!) so keep that in mind.

Before the surgery.

Right after I picked him up from the Surgery Center. (Seriously like an hour and a half after surgery. YIKES!)

You will notice the same shirt for a few days because he had to have something loose and that buttoned up.

Okay, so I know that is a ton of pictures, but I know a lot of my family has been wondering what he looks like. I think the ones I took today show just how much better he has gotten and how bad it was. I honestly don't think the pictures were as bad as how he looked in person. But the outcome has been good...just look at those sexy plumpy lips!

Updates, etc.

Some pictures from the last few months! I have been REALLY bad at keeping up my blog lately. I think it is because the computer is in Zeke's room and when the kids are napping I don't want to do anything to compromise that and disturb him! (I like my quiet time!) Everything is going great. We had some issues with our insurance changing, so instead of Brennan getting his surgery in July, he is getting it done FRIDAY! It is going to be crazy! He is going to be on a liquid diet for about 8 weeks. They said he could lose up to thirty pounds...hopefully not. For those of you who do not know, he is getting a surgery on his upper jaw to correct his bite. They are going to split the roof of his mouth. OUCH! He will be wired/rubberbanded shut for 8 weeks. Anyway, I will keep you posted. I will take pictures and post about how he is doing. They said to expect really bad swelling and bruising. Poor guy.
