Well, it is a Sunday afternoon and our family ritual is in full swing. (Football) Seriously, I never realized just how many football games there are in a week, let alone a day! I love my husband, and I am glad he enjoys sports, but holy crap. I KNOW he doesn't even like these teams that are playing, and I used to be able to use that as leverage to get my way of changing the channel. But no, some 'genius' invented FANTASY FOOTBALL. If I ever get the opportunity to meet that guy I will have a few choice words for him! Now, these games that I used to be able to get to turn off are important because Heaven forbid we miss a play that would potentially gain my husband a point for his fantasy team. Now that we have DVR we even have the blessing of not missing a single game! Luckily, DVR comes with a fast forward button! I like when I have the remote. But, that silly fast forward button gets stuck sometimes and fast forwards a little too far sometimes. ;) hehe
Not only that, my daughter is now a part of the tradition. Although, I must say that I love seeing her in her jersey. She has to wear it every time the Steelers are playing. If only that was the only time football played in our home!! :) Also, football has now been extended not only to Monday nights, but Thursday also! :) I might be coming across a little too negative. I actually like watching football and other sports on t.v., I just get overwhelmed sometimes and need to vent! Well, I hope that this has brought some humor to some of you women out there who share my predicament!

Oh, Sydney looks so cute.....and grown up.I am sure glad that I do not share your football ritual...mine is trucks and can I just say that at least football has a season, trucks are 24/7/352. Anyhow welcome to blogging. Love you guys tons. Carrie
I have been on the computer all afternoon, do you need to ask why? Because Brent has been watching football since we got home from church. I share in your pain! Sydney is the cutest steelers fan I have ever seen. I love that little girl!
I too share in your pain. Fortunately Richard does not do the fantasy football thing, and he is not really an NFL fan, so we only watch Thursday through Saturday (even teams that we don't really care about). Lately however he has been watching a little bit of the NFL on Sundays and Mondays, so it is getting a little worse. I watch with him so that we can spend some time together though, and I have learned a lot about football. It does get a little old though when you combine all this with softball games and basketball too. Oh, and I forgot weekly golf. We used to golf together, but that has changed since we had kids, maybe someday though.
Hey I knew you could figure out this blogging thing. Your page looks awesome and Sydney is just adorable. I used to share in your pain until I decided to join Ryan's fantasy football league. Now I can at least have a say in which games to watch.
