So, this Spring Break has started off as a pretty successful week. Brennan filled my new little garden with dirt and potting soil. Afterwards, I planted all of my little seeds and a few plants that are a few inches high. I tend to have a BLACK thumb when it comes to plants, so here goes nothing! Hopefully, I can keep these alive, because I must say it is VERY expensive to start a garden. Here are some pictures of our WIND blown day. Sydney's shirt was VERY appropriate today!
Also, I have some pictures of Sydney's new bed! I AM SOOOO EXCITED! I made the quilt that is the comforter on it. Plus, I found some wonderful matching sheets and bedskirt at Walmart! I absolutely LOVE it....come see it in person! :) Zeke just lounged around while we accomplished all of this!

So sorry that I missed your birthday-it sounds like you had a fun day! The quilt on Sydney's bed looks so good, you are so talented-I wish I could get motivated to do more...
I just came across your site that was showing off other El Paso blogs. I have a yard that looks pretty similar to yours and such a black thumb - by I too just planted a bunch a veggies, etc.
we can just pray for each other's gardens!
