Tribute to Grandma Jo

I might have told some of you already, but on April 8, 2009, Brennan's grandma lost her battle with Lung Cancer. It is really a reality check, because she was diagnosed with cancer right before Brennan was. Brennan is doing much better, and the diagnosis is a possitive one, but as life shows us time after time...we can be thrown for a loop at any moment. We also have a friend whose father was also diagnosed a little before Brennan, who passed away on Easter. I am very grateful for Brennan's new health and our Heavenly Father for allowing us to keep him around a little longer. :) Anyway, that wasn't the reason for this post. I wanted to show SOMEONE the wonderful thing I did today! I was so excited, I almost drove two hours away, to where my mother-in-law lives to give it to her. I was talked out of it and will wait for my husband.

At Grandma's funeral, there were some BEAUTIFUL arrangements that had been sent by friends and family. Brennan's grandfather, Pap Pap donated all of them to the church, but a few of us plucked some flowers from the arrangements to keep. I wanted to dry them and make something. AND...since I didn't drive to the in-laws and Brennan isn't home, I HAD to show someone. So Cyber World...here is what I created.
